Welcome
At
The Walled Garden Project we offer horticulture, woodland
conservation,
rural crafts and basic skills to people who need space and meaningful
activity away from a more formal educational environment.
We
run both accredited and non-accredited courses and we are a registered
centre for the delivery of the John Muir Award. This course is achievable
by all and its ethos is based around four main principles: discovery,
exploration, conservation
and sharing.
Our staff* are qualified and experienced in teaching students with
mild and moderate learning difficulties and special educational
needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Rozz Crockford

* All staff are CRB checked.
Mission statement:
"TO MEET THE NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS THROUGH MEANINGFUL,
THERAPEUTIC HORTICULTURAL EXPERIENCE."
