Information for Group Leaders

info panel with details about the new 4 day course starting in septemberIf you have learners whose talents lie in practical activity rather than formal classroom based education then we may be just what you are looking for.

We are able to provide a varied range of outdoor practical horticultural and rural craft activities. We can offer both accredited and in-house awards as well as the John Muir Award. We tailor our delivery to the needs of the individuals.

Our staff are experienced, fully qualified teachers and all are CRB (Police) checked.

Routes to attendance
There are several routes to attendance. Groups of adults with learning difficulties can access the project by enrolling as students with us through our partnership link with Walford and North Shropshire College. This is to enrol on a two year course with embedded basic literacy and numeracy.

Another route is through school leaders linking in with our provision for half day sessions throughout the academic school year (prices available on request).

We also provide small group sessions for young people at risk of exclusion from education for whatever reason (prices on request).

The project has been evaluated by EBS and we have comprehensive policies and procedures (all available on request) and the necessary insurance for all of our activities.

Rozz will be happy to discuss your requirements and arrange for you to visit the Walled Garden Project sites.
